Bella Cullen (Nee Swan) and Elena Gilbert

Have to be my two favourite "dark haired", book to live-action Vampires thus far.

I really enjoyed that both Bella and Elena got happy ending's, after all the war they went through, throughout the run of both The Vampire Dairies and The Twilight Saga franchises.

Bella's Powers:

What I especially love about Bella, is her "vampire shield" powers, the almost "moon shine", "iridescent" look, looks visually gorgeous on screen in Breaking Dawn Part 2, as if Bella is extending her aura. [As you can see in the screencaps below]. Bella would make a great asset on your supernatural team, protecting you from evil witch attacks.

I also love that her eyes began as red and ended on yellow/hazel-ish. [I believe newborn vampire's who haven't fed begin with red eyes, and when they feed their eyes turn more into a yellow/hazel-ish like tone, well that's what I got from the films. so please don't quote me on that.] also acting as a visual representation of "Blood Lust".

The issue I had is that the eyes looked more light brown in some scenes compared to others, what I would've done is edit them brighter/yellow-er in colour correction & grading.

Elena's Vampire Face

Like many of the vampires in The Vampire Diaries, Elena's vampire look in season 4 is so gruesomely cool, the way the eyes bleed into blood shot, and the veins around her eyes tense up, appears visually horrific on screen especially in darker environments, as seen in the episode "She's Come Undone." [As you can see in the screencaps below.] You certainly wouldn't want to face down her during a walk after a long day at night.

I'm obsessed with the addition of red highlights in Elena's hair, something that I think we would all do if we became a vampire showing off our new self, well I certainly would, it also helps to bring out when transformed, the red in her vampire eyes. as displayed above.

Talking of hair, I would've loved to see Elena donned with her blonde hair, like she had in the books, If it was me I would've had her dye her hair blonde at the end of the final episode "I was feeling Epic" instead of her cutting it.

Now The Question Is: Who Would Win! in a hypothetical fight?
